LIQUOR POSSESSION

• On Oct. 16 Party Intervention Patrol officers responded to a report of an underage drinking party at a Bonney Lake Boulevard location. Police observed several subjects drinking and playing beer pong in the backyard. Several beer cans and cups were set up on the table. Police contacted the renters of the residence, who were both 20 years old. They told officers nobody present was 21 years of age or older. Police were given permission to search the premises and located several empty beer boxes and a garbage can three quarters full with beer cans and cups. Police processed 16 people for minor in possession. One of the renters was cited for furnishing alcohol to minors.

MARIJUANA POSSESSION

• On Oct. 20 an officer patrolling in the 20900 block of state Route 410 noticed the left-rear tail lamp lens was broken on a vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver said he was aware of the broken light. A records check revealed the driver, a 28-year-old male, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. A plastic baggie was later located on the man and he admitted marijuana was in the bag. The man had a glass pipe in his sweatshirt and burnt residue was in the bowl. The man’s young daughter was in the back seat of his vehicle and a friend of his was contacted to pick up the child. The man was transported to Buckley Jail and booked for the warrant, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and for the tail lamp violation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

• On Oct. 19 police responded to a report of vehicle prowl in the Sky Island Drive park-and-ride lot. The male victim stated at 5:45 a.m. he parked his car and returned at 4:15 p.m. He noticed his vehicle was broken into and a GPS unit was stolen from the vehicle. The front passenger window was broken.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• On Oct. 19 police responded to a report of burglary at a residence on Bonney Lake Boulevard. The victim stated between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. items including $160 in cash, a laptop worth $400 and a portable gaming device were taken. One of the man’s neighbors reported hearing a car in the victim’s driveway during the time in which the items were reportedly taken.

ASSAULT

• On Oct. 16 police responded to a report of assault at 103rd Street. The assault reportedly occurred at 218th Avenue. A 49-year-old male stated he engaged in an argument with an 18-year-old female while he sat in his truck. The man said during the argument the female threw two rocks at him and one of the rocks struck his left cheek. Police observed dried blood on the man’s cheek. The man filled out a witness request form. The female admitted to arguing with the man and said he yelled profanity at her and called her names. She said she threw a rock at him, but it did not strike him.
