• Friday evening, Enumclaw police were alerted that a pug puppy, valued at $600, had been stolen from a Garfield Street residence by a known suspect. The officer contacted both parties in the civil matter and the dog was returned to its rightful owner.

• Friday evening, Enumclaw police were alerted that a pug puppy, valued at $600, had been stolen from a Garfield Street residence by a known suspect. The officer contacted both parties in the civil matter and the dog was returned to its rightful owner.

DRUG CHARGES

• An illegally parked vehicle on the corner of Garfield Street and Elmont Avenue drew attention Friday evening and resulted in a suspect being taken into custody on drug charges. Other subjects were released at the scene without incident and the illegally parked vehicle was impounded.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

• A 39-year-old Enumclaw man was arrested for violating a domestic violence restraining order about 11 p.m. Sunday. A subsequent K-9 search of the man’s vehicle yielded marijuana and drug paraphernalia and he was booked into the Buckley jail.

THREE CHARGES

• A 22-year-old Spanaway woman was stopped for speeding at 3 a.m. Friday. The female was arrested for driving under the influence, released to a sober adult and handed a criminal citation. She was also ticketed for speeding and having no proof of insurance.

DOMESTIC

• Officers were dispatched to a Main Street address at about 11 p.m. Thursday where a verbal domestic dispute was said to be in progress. Upon arrival officers contacted a 15-year-old male who was scratched and bleeding from his lip. The teen gave officers a verbal and written statement, indicating that his mother had assaulted him. The 34-year-old mother was taken into custody after officers attempted to question her and was booked into the Pierce County jail for domestic violence assault.
