White River 12, Rainier Christian 1

White River scored eight runs in the second inning to top Rainier Christian 12-1 in a rain-shortened five inning contest.

Tim Kolisch earned the win on the mound and 2 for 2 at bat with two RBI. Tanner Williams went 2 for 3 from the plate with a double and two RBI.

Sumner 8, Peninsula 4

Sumner High put up four runs in the third inning and added three more in the fifth to top Peninsula 8-4 Wednesday.

Highlights included Tanner Brinkman’s batting performance. He went 3 for 3 from the plate. Seth Morgan, who was also the Spartans’ winning pitcher, went 2 for 4. Brad Falk was 2 for 3 with five RBI.

White River 15, Enumclaw 8

The Hornets of Buckley pounded out an 11-run sixth inning to beat the Hornets of Enumclaw 15-8 Wednesday.

Sara Steinmetz earned the win for White River.

Also for White River, Sammy Mitchell belted out three hits on five tries with four RBI and a home run. Jordan Jacobs hit a triple-run triple.

Enumclaw’s Joslin Pierotti went 2 for 3 from the plate.
