Ballots are due today, Aug. 6, for the primary election.
The Bonney Lake mayoral race and one Sumner city council race have primaries. The top two candidates in the primary will move on to the Nov. 5 general election.
Mail-in ballots must be postmarked for Aug. 6. Ballot drop boxes are open until 8 p.m.
In Bonney Lake, a drop box is located at the intersection of Sky Island Drive East and 184th Avenue East.
In Sumner, a drop box is located at the local Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Avenue.
