The Public Disclosure Commission offers several tools to analyze the money raised by this year’s election campaigns.

Money Maps show from which counties the campaigns are raising the most money.  Pick a particular campaign and then hover over a county to see the total raised out of that county.

The PDC has money maps for the gubernatorial campaigns and statewide initiatives.  The legislative money map identifies who is running in each district and how much each has raised and spent.  It also offers a “find my district” feature.

Charts compare who is giving to campaigns (individuals, businesses, PACs, etc.) this year and in past elections.  The PDC also has charts that compare, by party preference, how much all candidates for a particular office have raised and spent this year and in past years.

Searchable Databasegives access to campaign funding details – how much each campaign has raised and spent, who has given contributions, and who is spending independently.  Since the candidates are subject to contribution limits, the real story this year for many races will be the independent spending.
