A regularly-scheduled bridge inspection occurred this weekend on the northbound state Route 167 Puyallup River Bridge in Puyallup.

Because of the narrow width of the bridge, crews closed the bridge to all traffic from 6 a.m. to noon on both Saturday and Sunday.

Crews accessed areas under the bridge deck using an “Under-Bridge Inspection Truck” with a specialized arm that reaches around the bridge railing and below the deck.
