The Pierce County Library System will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving.
During the two day closure, customers can still access the library’s free online services by visiting their website.
There are also holiday themed events happening at libraries throughout Pierce County.
Bonney Lake Pierce County Library:
- Puppets Please, Saturday, Dec. 14, 10:30 a.m.
- Holiday Concert: Listen and sing with The Dickens Carolers, Saturday, Dec. 21, 11 a.m.
Sumner Pierce County Library:
- Wreath Making, Sunday, Dec. 1, 2 – 4 p.m.
- Gingerbread Houses, Saturday, Dec. 7, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. All ages: 5 and under with an adult
- Puppets Please, Saturday, Dec. 14, 2 p.m. Free tickets available on day of event
- Celebrate Las Posadas – Mexican Christmas: Traditional Mexican rituals, food and entertainment, Wednesday, Dec. 18, 6 p.m.
