The Daffodil Festival will crown one member of its 2013 Royal Court as  Daffodil Queen this Saturday at Life Center Church in Tacoma. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., and tickets are available online or at the door.

Taylor Friend and Marissa Gregg are the princesses representing Bonney Lake and Sumner, respectively.

On Saturday, March 16, the royal court will meet, read stories and take photos with children at various Pierce County Libraries. Sessions at the Bonney Lake and Sumner libraries will take place at 11 a.m. A session at the Buckley Library will take place at 1 p.m.
