The Bonney Lake Senior Center hosted its annual Thanksgiving feast Nov. 17 and 18. Approximately 150 seniors were served over the two-day period.
Due to popular demand, the center split its annual feast into two days to allow for more people and more legroom during meals.
Members of the Bonney Lake High School Jazz Choir, led by Amy Fuller, performed at the meals, singing carols with the seniors and members of the Kiwanis and staff of Victor Falls Elementary School served the meals, which were prepared by the center staff.
The Thanksgiving meal was paid for by donations from the community, but seniors are asked to bring a donation to the Bonney Lake Food Bank.
The center will also split its christmas meal this year, scheduled for Dec. 15 and 16. Signups are in the binder at the center.
