Sumner High School (SHS) will host its annual Homecoming Parade on Main Street prior to the football game. The SHS Alumni Association is joining in the festivities, driving three vintage cars in the parade and inviting other alumns to join in the fun at the stadium. Be sure to look for the Alumni section.
The halftime show features the award-winning high school Marching Band and Color Guard with performances by the Dance/Drill Team and Cheer Squad. A fireworks display just before the start of the second half completes the show.
This year’s homecoming theme is “A Night at the Grammys.” Homecoming activities include:
October 15: Homecoming Assembly and Royalty Announcement
Boy’s Buff Puff Volleyball Tournament, 6 p.m. in the SHS Gyms
October 17: Girl’s Throw Ton Tournament
7 p.m. at Sunset Chev Stadium
October 19: Homecoming Football Game
