STOLEN TOOLS: Officers were dispatched on Sept. 4 to investigate a residential burglary. Officers talked to the reporting party, who said they had left tools overnight in the house, which was under construction. Upon his return, he saw an open window and missing tools.

EMPLOYEE THEFT: On Sept. 9 officers were dispatched to a Bonney Lake business for a report of employee theft. Loss prevention staff told officers a female employee conducted multiple fraudulent returns on his own credit card. The employee was fired and cited for theft in the third degree.
