It’s fewer than 24 hours until the resurrection of the Sumner Art Festival; heretofore called the Sumner Art & Rhubarb Pie Festival under the Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce’s management.

It’s the 39th year of the arts festival in the city’s Main Street core, and the traditional vendor booths, shop specials and Ryan House Museum tours will make their expected return. New draws are an entertainment stage next to the food court, culinary art, more kids entertainment, a village of mobile food vendors in Heritage Park, micro-brew tastings at the “Rhubarb Barrel House and an evening dance in the street.

The festival opens at 10 a.m. tomorrow and runs until 8 p.m. On Saturday, hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
