The Sumner Arts Festival returns Aug. 6 and Aug. 7 with local artists and activities.
The event is held in downtown Sumner and admission is free.
In its 37th year, the festival features more than 20 new artists are expected at the event, from the art forms of music, dance, painting, and more. Booths containing artists’ creations line the streets and entertainment and food are in abundance.
Hours are from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday.
All artwork featured at the festival is handcrafted by the artists themselves, who are local.
Music performances include the Mary McPage Band Friday Night and Sumner performers James Coates, Michael Powers, Fun Police and A-Leaf.
