Sumner High ASB to host annual Benefit Night

The public is invited to an evening of talent, laughter and entertainment – a talent show supporting Stacey Webber and her fight against cancer and to help raise funds to support her family.

Benefit Night, sponsored by the Sumner High School Associated Student Body, is 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Sumner Performing Arts Center, 1707 Main St. The fourth-annual event will feature a variety of performances for the community. Admission is $8 per person.

Benefit Night takes place each year to benefit a member of the community. Webber, the mother of two, is battling breast cancer. Though she is undergoing weekly chemotherapy, she continues supporting the Sumner High School staff and community with her work in the Tiny Sparts Day Care.

Proceeds from the event will help the family offset medical expenses.
