Sumner High School’s ASB has raised $8,000 in donations stemming from Wednesday night’s benefit dinner for Julie Moltke.
Every year, ASB holds the benefit dinner and a two-night talent show to raise money for one person selected from the community.
Moltke is a Sumner High School graduate who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The Benefit Night funds will go to Moltke and her family to help mitigate medical costs approaching $1 million.
The Benefit Night talent show will be held in the Performing Arts Center tonight and tomorrow at 7 p.m. Admission price is $10 per person or $16 for two. Tickets are available at the door and donations are appreciated.
