Sumner High School ASB is hosting the seventh annual Benefit Night Talent Show on Feb. 21 and 22. This year’s beneficiary is Sumner community member Dean Inglin.
The Benefit Night Talent Show features a variety of performances by students and community members, making for a fun evening of entertainment and laughter for the whole community. Sumner High School ASB is also hosting a dinner and silent auction on Feb. 20 is part of Benefit Night.
Inglin’s two sons attend school in the Sumner School District and his wife is a Sumner High School graduate. He and his family are very involved in the community and the high school, including his father-in-law John Anderson, a Hall of Fame football coach and former athletic director at SHS. Inglin has been an active member of the Sumner Rotary and supporter of the Sumner-Bonney Lake Recreation Department and Sumner/Bonney Lake Little League.
Inglin has a severe form of brain cancer with no cure that has drastically changed his life. He is in need of financial support for medical costs, loss of income, travel for treatment, and home remodeling to accommodate changing needs, such as paralysis and weakness on the right side of his body. His family and friends are looking to improve his quality of life for as long as possible.
This ASB-sponsored event will raise funds to support Inglin and his family with medical costs.
The Benefit Night Dinner & Silent Auction is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m., Feb. 20 in the
Sumner High School Commons, 1707 Main Street in Sumner.
Tickets for the Dinner & Silent Auction are $20 and can be purchased at Sumner High School.
The Benefit Night Talent Show will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 and Feb. 22 at the
Sumner High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 Main Street in Sumner
Admission to the Talent Show is $8 per person; tickets available at the door.
This event is held annually to benefit a member of our community and is sponsored by Sumner High ASB. All proceeds go to the selected beneficiary.
