Oct. 6
Officers responded to a report of two men with a knife behind a local business. They subjects were issued no trespass orders, but refused to leave the property. They were taken into custody, removed from the property and issued a citation with the requirement to appear in court.
Oct. 9
A man was seen driving erratically and cutting off his ex-girlfriend in traffic, which violated the valid protection order she had against him. Officers located the man and arrested him for violating the protection order. His vehicle was impounded.
Oct. 15
An officer located a stolen vehicle while routinely running license plates. The driver was laying down in the front seat. He claimed he had permission to borrow the vehicle, but the registered owner maintained the keys were stolen. In the subject’s possession was a backpack containing documents that suggested he was involved with fraud and identity theft. He was arrested for the stolen vehicle and financial fraud.
Oct. 18
Officers responded to a residential alarm activation. The resident recalled hearing a knock at the door, which she ignored because she was in bed. Shortly after, her back door was shattered and she responded by pressing the panic button on her alarm. Upon investigation, officers located a cell phone and drug paraphernalia that didn’t belong to the resident.
