MAIL ISSUE: A citizen told police Oct. 1 someone in a newer-model truck was going through mailboxes in the Michael Avenue area. It could not be confirmed if anything was taken. A check of the area for the suspect vehicle was negative.
STRUCTURE FIRE: Officers assisted the fire department at 11:17 a.m. Oct. 1 with evacuation and traffic control during a structure fire.
DOMESTIC ISSUE: A female arrived at the police station lobby the evening of Oct. 1, advising that she had a verbal disagreement with her grandmother. An officer responded to the location and, after contacting all parties involved, the issue was settled.
PARKING COMPLAINT: Police received a complaint the morning of Sept. 30 regarding a vehicle parked in the vicinity of Lois Lane and Highpoint Street. The vehicle was marked for a 24-hour limit and a warning was given regarding “oversize” parking.
