The King County Sheriff’s Office is looking for your help in locating Mark Dale Shewmaker who failed to appear in court Friday May 8th while waiting for the verdict on three counts of child molestation first degree charges. The crimes occurred from 2008 – 2011 and were reported in 2011.

Shewmaker is a 56 year old white male.  He’s 6’1” approximately 220 pounds with brown and gray hair and brown eyes. He lives in the Yakima area, his current location is unknown, and also has ties to Southeast King County.

Shewmaker was last reported to be in the Chinook pass area riding a black Suzuki motorcycle with a Washington plate of 9B1265 but has access to other vehicles.

He currently has a $500,000.00 warrant out for his arrest.  Anyone with information on Shewmaker’s whereabouts is urged to call the King County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center at (206) 296-3311. If anyone sees Shewmaker they are asked to call 9-1-1.
