Newland Communities is giving away a free home at Tehaleh planned community, valued at $280,000.
The home will be awarded to one Washington State resident. To win the free home, Washingtonians will compete in “You’re Home Free,” a multi-stage contest culminating in a on-site race on Grand Opening Day, set for Sept. 29. The winner will have their choice of a home from one of Tehaleh’s five builders.
Starting in early September, contestants will complete in four mostly online challenges – six will emerge as final contenders who could win the home at the final race stage on Grand Opening Day.
Then, on Sept. 29, the six finalists will compete at Tehaleh in the Great Race Home which includes four hands-on challenges. This is the first time in its history Newland Communities will give away a free home.
People can sign up for the contest at www.tehaleh.com/homefree. Contestants must enter by Sept. 6 to participate.
In addition to the contest finale, the Grand Opening will feature the opening of a model home village with homes from all of Tehaleh’s builders, food trucks, live music and plenty of kids’ activities.
Tehaleh, located at the space formerly known as Cascadia to the south of Bonney Lake, is planned to have approximately 5,900 homes, a 419-acre employment center with 3.9 million square feet of commercial/retail, a fire station, up to seven schools, more than 1,000 acres of parks and open space and an extensive network of trails.
