'Thank You'

Enumclaw Community Hospital was one of 20 organizations recently chosen to receive a $1,000 "Thank You" grant on behalf of Boeing employee Therese Walters. Boeing employees were invited to nominate an agency that has touched their lives and helped them or a family member through a difficult time. The Boeing Employees Community Fund board of trustees reviewed the nominations and selected the hospital for its caring and compassionate service. Above, Walters and Tom Watt, vice president of government and community relations at Boeing presented Alan Predmore (left), second vice president of the Enumclaw Community Hospital Foundation, with a $1,000 check, at a special luncheon Aug. 2, in Renton.
