The Great Pretenders

Classic rock cover band The Great Pretenders played the final night of Tunes @ Tapps Wednesday.

The Northwest native band has played continuously, with a rotating membership, since New Year’s Eve 1970, according to their webpage.

These two images show different marijuana retail zoning regulations Black Diamond councilmembers could adopt and how it could affect where those retailers could operate within the city. The red area represents where retailers can operate, and the black where marijuana producers and processors could set up. The dark green are places like schools and playgrounds (mandatory 1,000 foot barrier). The light green areas are mostly open space like Lake Sawyer Park and the Black Diamond Open Space, but also playgrounds and the community center. This image demonstrates how a 100-foot buffer between retailers and anything operating in the light green areas would affect pot shops. See below for an image with a 1,000-foot barrier.
