THREAT DELIVERED: Police were told the morning of Aug. 5 of a threatening note taped to a door at a Griffin Avenue location. Investigation could not determine the identity of the writer.
THEFT FROM YARD: A Victor Street resident notified police Aug. 5 regarding the theft of items from his yard. The resident believed he knew who the suspect was, but did not not wish to press charges. Rather, he just wanted the suspect trespassed from his yard.
HELP GIVEN: Police took a report the morning of Aug. 4 about a man sleeping on a mattress in the alley near Washington Avenue and Cole Street. He was provided a meal and given a bus pass to his destination in Federal Way.
RAINIER ASSAULT: An Enumclaw officer was called Aug. 4 to assist Buckley police with an assault in progress at Rainier School. The issue was settled upon police contact.
ANIMAL ISSUE: A Loraine Street resident contacted police the morning of Aug. 4 regarding a neighborhood dog being aggressive. An office contacted the dog owner and requested a follow-up by King County Animal Control.
VEHICLE PROWLS: Police were contacted the morning of Aug. 3 by several victims of vehicle prowls. An incident on Terry Lane resulted in a debit card stolen; on Olie Ann Place, a debit card, cash and identification cards were taken; on Loraine Street, cash, keys and other items were reported missing.
WEDDING PARTY: Police took a third-party report at 1:34 a.m. Aug. 3 regarding a disturbance on 244th Avenue Southeast. Contact was made and it was determined to be a wedding party that had gotten out of hand; police were told the party was being shut down.
