Threats made at city establishment | Buckley Police

At 10:50 p.m. Jan. 24, police headed to a city establishment after hearing of a customer who refused to leave and attempted to start a fight in the parking lot.

THREATS MADE: At 10:50 p.m. Jan. 24, police headed to a city establishment after hearing of a customer who refused to leave and attempted to start a fight in the parking lot. Officers determined the 49-year-old man had threatened an employee so he was arrested and taken home.

DRIVER ARRESTED: A Bonney Lake woman was stopped minutes before midnight Jan. 23 after committing a traffic violation on state Route 410. After it was determined she was intoxicated, the 29-year-old was arrested, cited and released.

PROTECTIVE CUSTODY: Police responded to a Division Street address Jan. 22 to assist Child Protective Services employees, who were  taking a child into protective custody. The child’s brother and sister had been taken by CPS at their school.

DANGEROUS DOG: Officers were dispatched at midnight Jan. 22 to a River Avenue address following an incident involving a dangerous dog. Officers were able to corral the dog and place it in a kennel. They also took information from a victim who reported her dog had been attacked. The case was on hold while police awaited contact with the owner of the suspect dog.

BOOKED INTO JAIL: Police stopped a driver at 8:50 p.m. Jan. 21 due to a traffic violation. In addition, the Buckley man behind the wheel was found to be driving with a suspended license. Also, he was cited for being in possession of a dangerous weapon. He was booked into jail and his vehicle was impounded.
