WARRANT ARREST: Local police arrested a suspect at 1:53 a.m. May 5 who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant by the Pacific, Wash., Police Department. The warrant was for failure to appear on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

TRESPASSING: Police were asked May 5 to remove a woman who was staying with a tenant at a Semanski Street apartment without permission of the management. An officer provided a “trespass letter” and gave the woman one hour to collect her belongings and move out.

TIRES SLASHED: A victim told police May 5 tires had been slashed while a vehicle was parked downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,400. There were no suspects or witnesses.

NO PROBLEM: Officers responded at about 7 a.m. May 4 to a Fell Street location where someone had discovered a suspicious bag. Officers checked inside the bag, found nothing of concern and threw it away.

WELFARE CHECK: Police were alerted the afternoon of May 4 to a distraught-looking man standing along Stevenson Avenue. The man had just been released from jail and was said to be excited. He was waiting for a ride, which arrived as officers left the scene.

WRONG APARTMENT: A Chinook Avenue resident called police at 9 p.m. May 4 because an unknown man was banging on the door and attempting to use a key to gain entry. It turned out the suspect was intoxicated, lived nearby and was attempting to enter the wrong apartment. A friend arrived and helped get the man home.

MEDICATION TAKEN: Police responded May 3 to a Bondgard Avenue residence after learning prescription medication had been taken the day before. There were no suspects; police were told multiple people had access to the residence.

NEGLIGENT DRIVING: A traffic stop shortly after 3 a.m. May 2 resulted in a man charged with negligent driving. He had been warned about his erratic driving several times in the past.

DOG TROUBLES: A woman told police the morning of May 2 she was riding a bicycle in the vicinity of 244th Avenue Southeast and was bitten by one of three dogs running loose. An officer checked the area and could not locate the dogs but found two additional bite victims. All the incidents occurred in county jurisdiction so information was forwarded to the King County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.

MINOR INTOXICATED: Responding to a suspicious vehicle at 7:41 a.m. May 1 in the vicinity of state Route 410 and Farman Road, police found the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. Parents were contacted and the male juvenile was released to them.

THREE CHARGES: A traffic stop the afternoon of May 1 at 244th Avenue Southeast and state Route 164 resulted in the driver charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: Police responded just after 2 a.m. April 30 to a report of large rocks in the road near the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Farman Street. An officer contacted a motorist who had hit one of the rocks, stopped and removed them from the roadway. The motorist had no vehicle damage.
