Officers were driving down SR 410 on Feb. 17 to check a business parking lot for drug activity. Officers ran a record check on a car parked in the lot with a male and female standing next to it.

TRIED TO RUN: Officers were driving down SR 410 on Feb. 17 to check a business parking lot for drug activity. Officers ran a record check on a car parked in the lot with a male and female standing next to it. The record check came back with a felony warrant. Officers approached the car and contacted the female as the male exited the store and started walking away from the car. Officers attempted to contact the male, who started to run. Officers caught and detained the male without further incident, finding on his person a knife and narcotics pipe. The male initially gave officers an incorrect name and later recanted after officers found his ID. The male was cited for the drug paraphernalia and false statement and arrested for the warrants.

EGGED: Officers were dispatched to a residential address concerning vehicle damage on Feb. 17. The reporting party told officers his car windows were broken and eggs were thrown at it. A small generator was also missing from a trailer. It did not appear as if any subjects entered the car.
