Darrel Dickson has been a friend and confidant for over 15 years. During that time I have been witness to his charity and kindheartedness to myself and to a multitude of others. He has helped many small businesses which make up the heart and soul of our community. He has helped over 20 boy scouts achieve the rank of eagle. He actively sponsors and scholarships many college students and encourages higher education.

One of the best examples of his devotion to community was this past summer when the City Council decided it wasn’t prudent to pay for fireworks when there was not money in the coffers for more core city needs. Because of his sense of patriotism and generosity, he worked with the community and procured funds to make sure that there were fireworks for the Fourth of July celebration. This is only one of many examples of his devotion to community.

We are voting for Darrell Dickson.
