The Washington State Liquor Control Board and BioTrackTHC will be co-hosting a Traceability requirements training session at the Tacoma Dome during the CannaCon event on each day (Aug. 14, 15, and 16). The training seminars are free of charge to I-502 license holders and applicants. Each training seminar will cover the same material which includes:
- What the traceability system is and is not;
- What data is required and what options are available for data submission; and
- The practical implications of the traceability requirements on licensee operating procedures (e.g., quality assurance laboratory testing, inventory conversions, manifest creation and product quarantine, etc…). This includes reviewing actual scenarios that have resulted in licensees being out of compliance, delays in shipping product, and increased other costs.
Note: Attending this training is not required for licensure. However, attendance by licensees and/or their general managers is strongly recommended to help you better understand the system and reduce the likelihood of non-compliance or operational delays.
Please go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/i-502-training-tickets-12462621035 to register up to two (2) representatives per licensee/applicant for one of the training sessions. Seating is limited to 500 individuals per session and registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
Also go to http://cannacon.org/apply-to-attend-cannacon/ to obtain your two (2) complimentary admission tickets to the CannaCon event where the training will be held.
