The first Sumner University class is tonight at Sumner City Hall.

The class takes place from 5 – 8 p.m. at 1104 Maple Street. Sumner University courses provide a background and forum on current events and Sumner history. At the most recent Sumner University, in 2011, they included an emergency preparedness course.

A second Sumner University course will be held March 12. Interested students can check for space with Sally Abrams at sallya@sumner.ci.wa.us or 253-299-5520.
