Starting tomorrow, the traffic signal at Fryar and Main in Sumner is being modified. The signal for West Main is being replaced by a stop sign.

Vehicles exiting West Main onto Traffic Avenue will only be able to turn right. Traffic will be directed at the site.

“This change is coming slightly earlier than expected to help speed the flow of traffic through the intersection,” stated Ted Hill, assistant city engineer.
