WSDOT has analyzed road projects and identified 3 hot spots and 2 watch list areas in the greater Puget Sound region, including North Pierce County/South King County, Seattle, and North Lake Washington.

‘Hot spots’ are areas where several roadway construction projects occur in close proximity at the same time. Watch list areas also have several projects occurring, but do not require the same level of extra coordination as a ‘hot spot’.
