Agnes Loene Jennings, 81, died Nov. 28, 2010, in Lakewood, Wash.
She was born Jan. 9, 1929, in Phillipsburg, Kan., to Frank and Minnie (Hood) Kemper and was raised in Logan, Kan. She was married in August 1949 to Donald Jennings of Phillipsburg.
She could be found playing bingo or cards and dice with the family and also enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She taught in a rural school in Logan for several years. When she moved to Washington she worked for Pacific Northwest Bell as a telephone operator.
She is survived by sisters Vera Cox of Everett, Wash., and Colletta Bauer of Denver, Colo.; sons Dennis Jennings and wife Peggy of Enumclaw, David Jennings and wife Suzette of Auburn, Wash., and Robert (Bob) Jennings and wife Gina of Yelm; daughters Diana Leiza and husband Francisco of Clallam Bay, Wash., Kathy Johnson and husband David of Yelm, Penny Pudwell and husband David of Pacific, Wash., Janet Jennings of Federal Way and Susan Jennings of Yelm; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by brothers Lee and Leonard Kemper, sister Pauline McClurg, husband Donald Jennings and grandsons Justin McDonald and Tim Jennings.
Services were Saturday, Dec. 4, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home. Burial followed at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw
