Albert Franz died June 29, 2016, in Enumclaw. He was 95.

He was born April 14, 1921, in Auburn, Wash. He enjoyed being with family, spending time with friends at the senior center and, in his later years, his passion was driving cars.

He is survived by son Arthur Franz (Sandra) of Enumclaw; daughter Virginia Erickson (Walter) of Enumclaw; sister Betty Uhrig of California; brother Bob Franz (Lori) of Seattle; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by wife Shirley Franz on May 17, 2006.
