Former Plateau resident Ann Louise Rinell Jordan, 81, died July 30, 2011, in Olympia, Wash.
She was born Feb. 6, 1930, in Wilkeson to Wilho and Mary Rinelland and graduated from Buckley High School in 1948 as class valedictorian. A retired accountant from Tacoma Life Center, she was a pianist, organist and played the accordion for her church. She enjoyed fishing and camping.
She is survived by sons Ronald L. Jordan and wife Marjoria of Anchorage, Alaska, Col. Richard A. Jordan and wife Karen of Sembach, Germany, and Douglas E. Jordan and wife Melissa of Olympia; daughters Theresa L. Sessions and partner Brooks Murphy of Leavenworth, Wash., and Kristine L. Peters of Landsthul, Germany; sisters Barbara Taylor and husband Daniel of Lake Tapps and Willie Marris and husband Dave of Buckley; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Jordan on Oct. 17, 1972, and sister Jeannie Warner.
A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at Buckley City Cemetery.
