Barbara “Barb” Jo Slabaugh went home to be with Jesus on December 31, 2023. She

is remembered by her son, Shon Kuykendall; her grandchildren, Zachary, Bailey, and Josi; and everyone who has had the great opportunity to enjoy her company both in the Nazarene Church and out in the community.

The life story of Barb, in short, is one of faith, family, love, grace, and living life unapologetically as who you are. Barb had faced health challenges that would strike fear in many, but with her faith she stood stronger than most and fought hard until being called home.

“The world is darker today without you here Grandma, only to be brighter again when you smile on us from heaven. We love you.”

There will be a viewing Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 9:30 to 11am at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the same day at 12:30pm at Enumclaw Nazarene Church with graveside services and a reception to follow.
