Bette Jean Sorgman, 72, died March 4, 2019, in Auburn.
She was born Dec. 12, 1946, to Norman and Ruth (O’Reilly) Sorgman in Brockton, Massachusetts. She worked as a bartender for many years and enjoyed interacting with her customers. She loved spending time with her family, especially granddaughter Christina, and had a love for animals, especially dogs and cats. Other interests included crocheting, coloring in color books, and volunteering every Friday at the Enumclaw Church of the Nazarene near her home.
She is survived by her companion of 33 years, Bil Strichertz of Enumclaw; sons James McCabe of Michigan and Norman O’Reilly of Massachusetts; daughters Gina Marie LeGault Culver of Massachusetts and Brandee Strichertz (Danny Bittick) of Renton; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Tina LeGault.
