Bill Petchnick died Aug. 7, 2012, at home, following a two-year battle with several cancers.

He is survived by wife Anna; son Todd; several sisters and a brother; and two grandchildren.

At his request, there will be no services. Also at his request, his ashes will be scattered at the many motocross tracks he enjoyed with his grandson.
