Birl Cecil Pierotti, age 80 passed away peacefully Dec. 12, 2019 at his home in Sumner WA where he lived for 34 years.

He was born April 23, 1939 in Bakersfield CA. Birl and his mother Madonna moved to Black Diamond shortly after he was born. He graduated from Enumclaw High School June 5, 1957 and enlisted in the Army where he served 4 years.

Birl retired from Weldco Beales in 1997 as a mechanic. He loved taking fishing trips to Alaska and enjoyed building engines and repairing cars, trucks, boats and hot saws for friends and family. Birl is survived by his daughter Kim Grant and husband Randy, 5 grandchildren, Randi Grant, Shelbi Grant, Joey Pierotti, Jordan Pierotti, Joslin Pierotti and great grandchild Zoey Pierotti. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Joseph Birl Pierotti.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Jan. 12, 2020 from 3-6 pm at the Black Diamond Eagles.
