Boyd Baker, 74, of Enumclaw, died Feb. 28, 2020, in University Place, Washington.
He was born March 21, 1945, in Ogdon, Utah, to Joy and Elda Baker. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1964 and then earned an associate degree from Green River College. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, stationed in Thailand where he worked on the electronics on fighter jets. After his military service he moved to Washington state. He met and married Connie Smith in 1975. They lived at Lake Tapps for 12 years, then moved to Greenwater in 1986. He loved motorcycle riding, hiking, camping, working with wood, science and, especially, his family.
He is survived by wife Connie, son Boyd J. Baker and daughter Carey J. Huss, all of Enumclaw; brother Roy Baker (Ann) of Puyallup; sister Karol Nelson (Bernard) of Sedro-Woolley, Washington; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by brothers Ronald and Gary Baker and sister Shirley Baker.

A graveside service took place Thursday, March 5, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
