Bruce Hay

Bruce Hay died May 10, 2024, at the age of 81.

April 2,1943- May 10 ,2024

Bruce was a friend to everyone he met and was the first one to step up to help others. Bruce graduated from Glacier High School, class of 1961. He Joined the Air Force in 1964 where he served 4 years

and was discharged in 1968 and he returned back to Boeing and retired after 38 years.

Bruce and his family resided in Buckley, WA for 25 years and he served as a volunteer fireman for 10 years. He love going hunting, fishing and mountaineering along with wood working. After retirement from Boeing he and Marsha moved to Grangeville, ID and purchased land and build their home in the foothills and looked over the prairie.

Summer months he worked for the USFSr unning supplies to fire camps. He relished his time in fire camp, meeting new people from all over. He also loved to fish the rivers and go ice fishing.

In 2009 Bruce and Marsha moved to Yakima to be near their grandson Wyatt. Bruce would volunteer at Camp Prime Time near Clear Lake, which is a camp for special needs children and their families to spend a weekend and enjoy the outdoors for no charge.

Bruce is survived by his wife Marsha for 54 years of Yakima,WA and daughter Dawn Shay of Enumclaw, WA and grandson Wyatt Shay. His brother Barry Hay and wife Jeannie of Henderson, NV and sister Julee Werlinger of Auburn, WA.
