Former Enumclaw resident Carmen (Harvey) Westwater Anderson, 82, died May 31, 2012.
She was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Chicago to Imelda Brouillard and Nelson Harvey. She was raised near Montreal, Quebec, and was a longtime resident of Long Island, N.Y. In 1976 she moved to Bellevue, Wash., where she worked as administrative assistant to University of Washington Nobel Laureates Eddie Fischer and Ed Krebs and she later moved to Enumclaw.
She is survived by husband John Sumner Anderson; children Raymond Westwater and wife Joceli, William Westwater and wife Julie, Marie Westwater Balocki and husband Jim and Helen Westwater Rapoza and husband Mel; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brother Raymond Harvey and son George Nelson Westwater.
Services took place Monday, June 4, at Sacred Heart Church, Enumclaw. She will be buried in Montreal, Canada, in August.
