Carol Fisher Bogar, 79, of Enumclaw died May 10, 2018, from complications associated with an extended battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 21, 1938, in Bellingham, Washington, to the late Carl and Helen Olson. Carol was a gifted pianist and organist, providing music for her church, family and friends all her life. She was also a longtime member of Hillside Community Church, attending and serving there since 1976. Her compassionate spirit led her to give generously of her time and resources; she had a special place in her heart for the children of Peru and traveled there frequently to support the efforts of Helping Hands Ministries.
She is survived by husband Dean Bogar; daughters Susan Deonigi (Tony), Sandy Rosenkranz (Rick) and Blossom Bolton (Dan); sister Marilyn Stolz (Fred); brother David Olson (Fran); and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by first husband Leo Fisher and daughter Chris McElfresh (Mark Keeth).
