Carolyn Ann Henderson, most recently of Lake Stevens, Wash., died Feb. 15, 2017.

She was born Oct. 8, 1941, in Renton to the late Albert and Ann Donati. She was raised in Black Diamond, graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1959 and attended Shoreline Community College. She enjoyed cross stitch, quilting, traditional rug hooking, Tai Chi, RV travel and snow skiing. She and her husband, John, were longtime members of Family Motorcoach Association and Winnebago Itasca Travelers Club.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John I. Henderson; daughter Kimberly (Sean) Gephardt of Bellevue, Wash.; stepchildren Pam Sanden and Duane (Connie) Henderson; sister Marilyn Kienke; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dave Smith.

A memorial service will take place at 10 p.m. Friday, March 24, followed by a reception at Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett, Wash. Private interment will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
