Carroll Jean Ainsworth Brevik died at her home Jan. 12, 2018, surrounded by family. She was 68.
She was born Feb. 15, 1949, in San Rafael, California, to the late Guy and Nadine Ainsworth. The family moved in 1955 to Enumclaw where she spent the rest of her life. She attended Enumclaw High School, then married Ron Brevik on Jan. 9, 1968, in Enumclaw. She worked at Farwest Garments and Heath Tech, retired from The Boeing Co., and then worked at Walmart in Bonney Lake.
Her greatest enjoyment was her family, especially her daughters and grandsons. She loved family gatherings, as she was from a family of 12 siblings. She loved going on an annual women’s retreat with her daughters, sisters and nieces, playing bingo and being a greeter at Walmart.
She is survived by her husband Ron; daughters Cindy Crawford (Rich) and Tammy Holdener (Gary); brothers Robert Ainsworth (Shireen), Butch Ainsworth and Duane Ainsworth (Kari); sisters Jody Scott (Ken), Judy Fosberg (Carl), Sandra Barton, Denise VanHoof (Gordy), Debra Love (Brian), Mavis Martinson and Delores Ainsworth Wagner; four grandsons and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Ainsworth.
A celebration of her life will take place at noon on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Moose Lodge in Enumclaw. Memorials are suggested to Franciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport Way W., University Place, Washington 98466.
