Charlie Steiner died Sept. 27, 2013, at the Soldier’s Home in Orting. He was 82.

He and a twin brother were born July 30, 1931, in Orting to Carl and Rosalie Steiner. He grew up in Buckley and graduated from Buckley High School in 1950. He served in the Army in 1952-54 in Korea.

He is survived by one sister.
