Charlotte Katherine Keeney of Buckley died April 30, 2017, in Seattle. She was 78.

She was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Manchester, Conn., to Loren and Matilda Keeney. A registered nurse for her entire working life, she enjoyed heartfelt movies, playing with technology and a few computer games. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and enjoying close friendships.

She is survived by son Steven Keeney; daughter Mailee Leavitt; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service took place Saturday, May 6, at Weeks Funeral Home in Buckley. Inurnment will be at West Cemetery in Manchester on May 12.
