Cindy Marie (Sutherland) Hedgers, 59, of Enumclaw, Washington lost her courageous battle to colon cancer on November 13, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Auburn on February 10, 1964, to Harold and Mary (Quimby) Sutherland. Cindy graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1982. While she was in school, she enjoyed volleyball, which she continued playing much into her adult life.

On March 28, 2021, she married her lifelong partner of 25 years; David Hedgers II. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and all of their many adventures together. Cindy loved to read, cook, doing diamond art, and tending to her garden. She also enjoyed spending time on the boat with her husband. Her dog Ruby was her best friend and was by her side the whole time. Cindy also loved all sorts of music.

Cindy worked her whole life, most of that being in commercial insurance. She was so happy when she got a job that she loved right in her hometown at Mutual of Enumclaw. She had just hit her 10 years working there.

Cindy is survived by her husband, David Leroy Hedgers II, sister Jane (Dennis) Balsley, Carol (Carl) Johansson, mother Mary (David Sr) Hedgers, daughter Madeline (Sean) Morris, daughter Darci Holmquist, stepson Robert (Nicky) Foy. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Sutherland.
