Craig Vern LaMotte died suddenly Aug. 1, 2014, in Tacoma.
He was born Aug. 1, 1957, to Monty and Judy LaMotte in Sandpoint, Idaho. He graduated from Kent-Meridian High School in 1975, then served four years in the U.S. Navy for four years. He continued to serve his fellow veterans at the Old Soldiers Home in Orting. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed music, playing a variety of instruments.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Delores of Enumclaw; son Travis LaMotte (Jackie) of Enumclaw; daughter Molly LaMotte of Enumclaw; his parents, of Auburn, Wash.; sister Jackie Jeffords (Rick) of Spanaway, Wash.; and one granddaughter.
A celebration of his life took place Friday, Oct. 3, was buried with military honors at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw.
