Dale F. Kochevar died Oct. 22, 2017, in Bellevue, Washington. He was 82.
He was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Seattle and was a lifelong resident of Hobart, Washington, with the exception of two years in Cle Elum, Washington. He graduated from Tahoma High School in 1953. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He retired from the Kent School District in 1992 and, following retirement, he loved playing cards and bingo and having lunch with friends at the senior center.
A lifelong bachelor, he was survived by nieces and nephews Nancy Parsons, Dorthy King, Don and Jackie Thompson, Jim and Linda Thompson, Sally and Lee Reichert and David Baugh.
Burial is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Hobart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Maple Valley Historical Society.
