Buckley resident David Jacob Adkins died July 20, 2016, in Greenwater. He was 28.

He was born July 23, 1987, in Auburn, Wash., to David and Shan Adkins. He loved the outdoors, fishing, four-wheeling and riding dirt bikes. The most important t hing in his life was his daughter. He is remembered as a “people person” and a hard worker.

He is survived by his parents, of Buckley; sisters Sharina Adkins of Auburn and Lacie Adkins of Puyallup; and daughter Madison Adkins of Puyallup.

A funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Weeks’ Funeral Home. Burial was at Buckley City Cemetery.
